dancing through the digital age

some of you may have noticed that third circles is not on social media. it’s because we think that aspect of the digital age is at odds with our values of in person experiences and wellness. so an upcoming event that caught our eye is Mirrors at the bijlmer park theatre this wednesday. in this performance, four dancers explore “the chaos caused by the amount of digital information that people receive daily.” through the medium of hip hop dance, Saint Martiner choreographer Donna Chittick invites us to ask some truly challenging questions about social media’s impact on our sense of self and how we relate to others around us.
