third circles looks into the future

With the arrival of winter, I am increasingly spending time just hibernating at home with a good book. I recently swung by OBA Oosterdok Library and stumbled upon an Afrofuturism exhibition. From the creative community First Noble Institute (definitely make a note to yourself to check them out later), Shared History of the World brings together thirty artists from around the world. The artists use various media to explore alternative realities of the past, present and future of the Black diaspora. Find some time to see this free exhibition before its last day, 14th January. And, on 7 - 8 December, the exhibition comes alive with a weekend of "interactive exhibits, engaging talks, book launches, film premiere, VR experience and thought-provoking discussions." It's being billed as Europe's largest Afrofuturism event!
