our hair is a work of art

Lisbon's Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology is currently showing a Black Ancient Futures exhibition. And one of the pieces is a large-scale hanging globe of synthetic hair. That recent memory made us take notice of this upcoming workshop at OSCAM. Led by hair artist Asia Clarke, the workshop will explore African hair aesthetics and attendees will learn how to create their own unique hair sculptures. Spots are limited but there are two other opportunities to hear from this multidisciplinary creative: the opening exhibition as well as the panel talk and after party.
